Spot

AEPL Partners with Spot to Launch the “AI Match Video Center”
Boosting Match Promotion Social Views Up 30×

AEPL and Spot officially launch the “AI Match Video Center” starting from the Hsinchu stop of the City Tour
AEPL (Asian Elite Pickleball League) adds new firepower to its inaugural season! The league has announced a partnership with AI sports technology team Spot to bring the “AI Match Video Center” to its City Tour. Following a trial run at the Yilan stop, the system officially launched at the Hsinchu stop and will continue all the way through the Season Finals. Every great rally on court is automatically edited into a short video as it happens and published simultaneously to Instagram, Facebook and YouTube — so fans no longer have to wait until after the match to catch the most exciting showdowns.
Spotlighting Outstanding Players, Delivering Match Highlights in Real Time
AEPL is dedicated to growing the sport of pickleball and building a stage where every outstanding player can be seen. From event planning and the on-site experience to social media content, the league continues to invest resources so that players’ skill and fighting spirit reach a wider audience, and so that fans — whether courtside or following online — can feel the competitive thrill of pickleball.
With this goal in mind, AEPL has partnered with Spot to introduce the “AI Match Video Center.” AI identifies key rallies in real time and automatically produces titled vertical short videos, which the league’s social media team reviews courtside before publishing them instantly across major social platforms. By combining technology with the team’s content expertise, dozens of highlight clips can be shared in a single match day — giving fans immediate access to the best showdowns, and letting players quickly revisit the highlights of each match, review their own performance and use the clips for post-match discussion and training.
Through the combined efforts of players, partners and the behind-the-scenes team, together with the support of fans, AEPL continues to connect live matches, online viewing and player feedback — helping more people discover, appreciate and take part in pickleball, and working together to expand the stage for competitive pickleball in Taiwan.
Players’ Talent Drives the Excitement; Partners Join Forces to Amplify Its Reach
Taiwan is home to many outstanding and professional pickleball players, and their dedication is the very heart of the league’s events. With solid technique, an all-out attitude and thrilling matchups, they showcase the competitive strength of Taiwanese pickleball and let more audiences discover the appeal of the sport.
Building on this foundation, AEPL brings together sponsors, fans, league ambassadors, AEPL Girls and the behind-the-scenes crew, investing continuously in venue selection, the on-site experience and social content — and has now added Spot’s real-time AI video technology so that players’ standout performances can be seen faster and more widely. With each party’s expertise and resources complementing one another, AEPL aims to take competitive pickleball in Taiwan to a bigger stage and a broader audience.
The following view and engagement figures are combined totals across Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, benchmarked against highlight video performance at tour stops held before Spot was introduced:
| 1.12M+Yilan highlight videosTotal views | 30×Yilan viewsvs. pre-Spot stops | 630K+Hsinchu, first 4 daysTotal views | 10×Median views per videoGrowth |
- Total views of Yilan stop highlight videos surpassed 1.12 million, 30 times that of pre-Spot stops
- Hsinchu stop highlight videos passed 630,000 total views within 4 days of posting — about 17 times that of pre-Spot stops
- Median views per highlight video rose from about 300 to over 3,000 — roughly 10× growth
- Engagement such as likes and reactions grew 13 to 21 times
- With real-time video technology, highlight videos can be posted while the match is still in progress, so fans can catch every great rally as it happens
(Data as of October 21, 2026; match highlight videos only.)
These figures reflect the growth in attention and social engagement around the league’s events, as well as the promotional results built through the joint efforts of players, fans and partners. AEPL will continue to bring together resources from all sides so that more outstanding players are seen, driving the continued growth of pickleball in Taiwan.
Building the Inaugural Season Together Eyes on the Asian Stage
Chang Chih-Wei, CEO of AEPL, said:
“AEPL was founded with the goal of building a professional pickleball stage in Asia. Taiwan has many outstanding and professional players, and their commitment and performances on court are the core of our events. Through the league, we hope more people will see what these players are capable of and experience the speed and excitement of pickleball.
From venue selection and the on-site experience to social content, the league has been working continuously with our sponsors, ambassadors, AEPL Girls and the behind-the-scenes team. Partnering with Spot allows us to build on our existing promotional foundation and share great content more efficiently, so that audiences both on-site and online can engage with every match in real time.
This achievement is the result of the collective work of our players, partners and the entire league team, with technology giving our match coverage an extra boost. We look forward to continuing to work with all our partners to deliver an even richer viewing experience at the Season Finals, and to help pickleball players from Taiwan and across Asia be seen by more people.”
Chen Kuan-Yu, Chief Business Officer of Spot, said:
“A new league’s first season is the most critical time for building fans’ viewing habits. AEPL has put the fan experience at its core from its inaugural season, which is exactly what Spot believes in. Seeing views multiply at the Yilan and Hsinchu stops proves that when great content appears at the right moment, more people will see it and share it. Spot will keep working with AEPL to deliver the best moments of every stop to fans in real time.”
